Who We Are

Front Line Services is a behavioral health company focused on aiding our clients in connecting their citizens with the care they need in an equitable and approachable way. This can take on many forms based on the needs of the client. Our products include consultation, training, and providing robust community specific behavioral health services.

Front Line Services had its early beginnings as the continuation of the Bridge Program, a regional program in Greater Lowell managed out of Tewksbury in 2011. Front Line Services served as a regional innovator combining prevention, training, clinical co-response, and community post-crisis supports. The program received federal funding from the Department of Justice and underwent a three-year expansion in 2019. Since then, it garnered local and national attention with visits from Representatives Joseph Kennedy and Seth Moulton, and it was presented to President Biden at the White House by Middlesex County Sheriff as part of the executive order on co-response and police reform. Since its inception, the focus has been placed on providing supports to first responders who are handling mental health/substance use cases and providing diversion from arrest and hospitalization wherever possible. Front Line has grown beyond its original structure and has grown to its own agency.

Since 2019 Front Line staff have responded to over 6,400 referrals from departments, have provided over 500 therapeutic hours at no charge to community members, over $8,000 worth of emergency supports for housing and basic needs, over 2,100 emergency room diversions, and over 1,800 criminal custody diversions. Front Line is best known for its person-centered model that focuses on personal resiliency. Front Line Services is an LGBTQ+ owned business that believes in equity for all and understands the importance of meeting the unique needs of those we serve.
